This was a great project to teach multiplying decimals. We found the height and length of the picture and then we resized the picture. For example if the picture was 2.5 inches tall and we wanted the picture to be 40 percent of the picture's height, we simply multiplied 2.5*0.4 The students really enjoyed this project and they were able to complete the calculations accurately.
